SWCF work in partnership with the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR) to deliver Back to School vouchers to many families in Victoria's south west region.
Back to School is a national program that helps remote and rural children and young people access quality educational experiences. Since 2005, this practical, positive program has helped thousands of students to engage in learning and strenthen their educational outcomes.
Working through local community organisations, Back to School provides $50 digital gift vouchers to students in need redeemable at Target or Kmart.
The vouchers can be used for items such as school uniforms, clothing, shoes, school bags and stationery – or anything that helps students feel ready to learn. 500 $50 vouchers have been made available to the community this year through the generosity of our partners, supporters and donors.
