I plan to do another paddle later this year and am calling on friends to see if we can team up again to raise funds for the Arrow Bone Marrow Foundation. The Arrow Foundations' mission is to help people to have bone marrow transpalants, especially kids with leukaemia. Over the past four years together we have raised more than $17,000 for the foundation.

The Murra Marathon  and the Hawkesbury Challenge  timing is not quite right this year and I wanted something that fits within the GHD holiday shutdown.

During my secondary education I failed a few things (French in Year 9), but I never failed to cross the Murray River twice every day for six years. First at Brigenbrong Bridge (Khancoban to Corryong) and then at Union Bridge (Albury to Wodonga). So let's link the bridges  together (28/12 - 30/12) with a 210 km paddle and a donation to Arrow at $0.10 pera kilometre (or any other combination). For any kilometre that I fail to cover, I will donate $4.00. Thanks to Tricia for 'volunteering' to be  land crew, the most difficult critical role for a long paddle.
