I am on a mission to help rescue dogs!
For the last two years, I have taken part in the Perth Kids Marathon to raise money for the Shenton Park Dog's Refuge Home. This was a big challenge for me because I find running very hard work!
I am taking part in the 2026 marathon and have decided to set my biggest goal yet - to raise a grand total of $1000 for the dogs this year!
To complete the challenge, I must run 40km before the event and then complete the final 2.2km on race day.
I'm also making dog themed crafts to sell, with every dollar going directly towards my goal to raise more money than ever for the Dog's Refuge.
Shenton Park Dog’s Refuge works tirelessly to care for abandoned, surrendered, and neglected dogs across Western Australia. They provide medical treatment, rehabilitation, and the chance for every dog to find a loving home. My best friend Bluey was adopted from Shenton Park and it is a very special place to me.
Your donation — big or small — brings me closer to my $1000 goal and directly supports the rescue dogs at Shenton Park Dog’s Refuge. Please help me to achieve my goal and build a better world for animals.
Thank you for supporting Isobel’s Paws for a Cause and please look out for my dog themed crafts for sale! Your kindness makes a real difference to rescue dogs who need it most.
