I am shaving my head and donating my ponytail to raise funds for Lisa's Lunches Inc https://www.facebook.com/lisaslunchesipswichqld/ because I am inspired by their work.

Lisa's Lunches was established in 2019 in memory of Lisa Heuston, a 39-year-old Ipswich woman who lost her battle with cancer and left behind a young family.

With knowledge of the many difficulties faced by Lisa during her journey, our mission is to provide practical help for people experiencing similar challenges. Lisa's Lunches helps individuals in the Ipswich Queensland community and welcomes participants of all ages.

Lisa's Lunches deliver lunch packs, gift cards, and other practical assistance to families who are struggling with the hardships of cancer.

$25 provides a week of lunch packs for one child $50 provides a family care pack for hospital stays $100 provides a gift card to help with groceries.

Recently, Lisa's Lunches has partnered with many hospitals in South East Queensland to provide palliative care boxes to families of palliative patients. These boxes contain essentials and supplies to help ease the stress of families of palliative patients.

The difference they have made to so many people is just extraordinary and I know there are so many others that would benefit from their work. But they need more funding to make that happen.
