Dancing for a Difference: Supporting Women and Children Through Micah Projects 💗

At Storytime Dance Centre, we believe that every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved and supported, and that every woman deserves to live a life free from fear and violence.

This year, we are proud to be raising funds for the Women and Children team at Micah Projects, a Brisbane-based organisation dedicated to supporting vulnerable women, children and families experiencing domestic and family violence, homelessness and hardship.

For women and children escaping unsafe situations, starting again can be incredibly difficult. Micah Projects provides compassionate, practical support to help families navigate some of life's most challenging circumstances, access essential services, find safety and begin rebuilding their lives with dignity, independence and hope.

This is a cause especially close to our hearts. As a dance school that works with young children and families every day, we understand just how important a safe, nurturing environment is for a child's happiness, development and future.

Through our 2026 end-of-year celebrations, we hope to use the joy of dance to make a meaningful difference beyond our studio walls.

Every donation, no matter how small, helps support the important work of Micah Projects and the women and children who turn to them in times of need.
