REACH for Nepal Foundation is a Canberra-based charity established in 2015 following the devastating earthquakes that claimed nearly 9,000 lives. REACH is an acronym for - Rebuild, Educate, Assist, Children/Communities (giving) Hope for Nepal.

Requests for assistance come directly from local leaders and women’s groups. Our RFN team in Nepal conducts preliminary assessments to ensure every project aligns with our core vision and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
HOW YOUR DONATIONS ARE USED?
Earthquake Resilient Schools & Health Clinics
In partnership with leading Australian architectural firms (COX Architecture and David Francis Architecture) and engineering firm TTW, we build safe, earthquake-resilient classrooms and healthcare clinics in remote Nepal.
We provide improved access and use of safe and sustainable drinking water and sanitation services to children and communities through schools and healthcare services. A key feature of our sustainable investment in health is education on health and hygiene.
We invest in academic, human rights, and environmental education. This includes student scholarships, essential supplies (uniforms, winter clothing, shoes, textbooks, and sports gear), teacher training, and community programs on nutrition, child safety, and climate awareness.
Village Sustainability & Disaster Response
All our work is community-led to ensure aid reaches the most vulnerable. Crucially, local Women’s Community Groups and Village Chairmen guide and prioritize every project so help goes exactly where it’s needed most.
