Here’s the cold, stretchy-pants truth: I haven’t properly exercised in years. Why? Because I’ve been far too busy being a devoted wife, career warrior, emotional support human, and elite-level scheduler of everyone else’s life. 🙃
(Shoutout to my husband who handles school lunches like a champ—but let’s be honest, he’s not the one who has to wrestle herself out of bed with a soundtrack of joint cracks.)
But now… it’s time.
Time to dust off the sneakers. Time to summon my inner badass (she’s been on an extended sabbatical). Time to move—and most importantly, time to save lives.
Introducing: Taras Challenge – “30 Days to Save Men” 💪
In support of the incredible work of BraveBrothers.org, tackling men’s mental health, suicide prevention, and ending the silence.
Because here’s the heartbreaking stat:
🧔 75% of lives lost to suicide are men.
It’s time to break the silence. So for 30 days, I’m going 75% Strong:
🏋️♀️ DAILY:
• 75 Seconds of Push-ups (or push-up attempts 🙃)
• 75 Jumping Jacks (bracing for impact)
• 75 Seconds of Plank (please send prayers)
• 75m Shuttle Run (or equivalent short sprint, possibly involving coffee)
• And a message to a mate—because checking in can change a life.
And when it’s all done?
💦 I’ll be wrapping it up Brave Brothers style—with a Buy-a-Bucket Cold Water Challenge on Bargara Beach.
Ice. Water. Screams. Dignity optional.
