In the Northern Rivers, countless native animals suffer from injuries, illness, and displacement each year. Without specialised care, many of these animals won’t survive. Our region is home to some of Australia’s most unique and vulnerable wildlife – but right now, local carers, vets and wildlife hospitals are under a huge amount of pressure - There are simply not enough facilities, staff and resources to meet the demand.
The Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital (NRWH) is on a mission to change that. We're building a community-owned wildlife hospital to treat sick and injured animals, restore native habitats, and support local conservation efforts. But we need your help to finish fitting out the hospital with essential medical equipment and supplies. Every dollar brings us closer to opening our doors and providing life-saving care.
With your support, we’ll be able to give injured wildlife a second chance and create lasting change for future generations. Every donation helps us open and equip a hospital that will serve animals across the Northern Rivers, including Ballina, Byron, Lismore, Kyogle, Richmond Valley, Tweed, and Clarence Valley.
Thank you for believing in us and the animals we all care about.
