1 in 20 children aged 5-18 in Australia experience the death of a parent before their 18th birthday (ABS 2023 census data); that is one child in every classroom in the State of Victoria.

Wombat's Wish supports children and young people who have had a parent die.

Wombat's Wish operates this valuable service by providing weekend grief programs for children and the surviving parent/carer, 1:1 or group counselling support, online support lounges, and family social days at no cost to the families or children.

I am also inviting you to the community event - Sunday 17th November 2024 from 10am to 3pm at Portarlington Cricket Club - Sproat Road Portarlington. This is a family day with entertainment, live music, market stalls, children's entertainment, raffle, silent auctions and much more.
