Hi, we’re Thor and Jasmine Phillips, and we care deeply about protecting the incredible wildlife that makes the Northern Rivers so special. That’s why this Christmas, we’re taking on a Walk 100ks for Wildlife Challenge to support the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital (NRWH).

Living outside Kyogle, we see firsthand the challenges our native animals face—especially on our roads. It’s heartbreaking to witness the loss of life, with red-necked wallabies being frequent victims. We’ve even rescued orphaned joeys from their mothers’ pouches, including one just outside our home. These moments remind us of the urgent need for places like the NRWH to provide expert care and rehabilitation for injured wildlife.

Starting November 25th, we’ll be walking (and running - but only Thor is going to choose that!) 100 kilometres by the end of December to raise $500 for the NRWH as part of their Christmas Wish Appeal. Every dollar raised will help equip the hospital with the tools and supplies they need to save lives—and thanks to their generous Foundation Partner, every donation will be doubled, making your support go twice as far!
