This Christmas, Help Give Wildlife in the Northern Rivers a Second Chance
The Northern Rivers is lucky to have some of Australia’s most unique and beautiful wildlife. But every day, animals are being injured, orphaned, or left fighting for survival because of things like road accidents and habitat loss. At the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital in Wollongbar, we’re here to help—but we can’t do it alone. This holiday season, we’re asking for your support to make sure we have the equipment and supplies needed to save lives.

We all wish that no animal would ever need rescuing. But when they do, it’s vital that we have everything ready to care for them, from the moment they arrive until they’re strong enough to go back to the wild.

Here’s How You Can Help
All donations over $2 are tax deductible.

• Your $30 donation, doubled to $60, can help us buy a Venomous Snake Handling Kit, so we can safely care for and release snakes.
• Your $50 donation, doubled to $100, can provide special milk formula to feed orphaned joeys and other young wildlife.
• Your $80 donation, doubled to $160, can buy a Stethoscope to check the heartbeat and lungs of every animal we treat.
• Your $150 donation, doubled to $300, can cover pain relief medication for multiple patients during their stay.
• Your $500 donation, doubled to $1,000, can go towards an Intensive Care Unit and Incubator, giving our tiniest and most vulnerable animals the best chance of survival.

Your support will also help us fund critical equipment such as Avian Endotracheal Tubes to ensure safe anaesthesia for injured birds, an Ultrasonic Cleaner to thoroughly sterilise surgical instruments, and a Vetronics Multiparameter Monitor to track vital signs during surgeries.
