1 in 20 children in Australia experience the death of a parent before their 18th birthday; that's at least 1 child in every school classroom across Australia.

Wombat's Wish supports children and families during this unimaginable time. Wombat's Wish provides weekend grief programs for kids and the surviving parent/carer, counselling sessions, online support lounges, and family social days all at no cost to the attendees.

As a member of this amazing team I personally see the wonderful impact our programs have on the kids and families who attend! Being a Camp Leader has been a highlight of my social work career.

Your support means that 100% of donations will directly fund our support programs and camps for children, teens, and guardians. 

I pledge to run 50 laps of the Portarlington Cricket Club oval to raise funds for Wombat's Wish to ensure this program continues to impact every family in need. 

I also invite you to join our community event: Sunday 17th November 2024 (10am - 3pm) at Portarlington Cricket Club. This is a family day with entertainment, live music, market stalls, children's entertainment, raffle, silent auctions and much more.
